Outdoor BBQ Catering Northern Ireland – Fresh, Flavourful, Flexible

Outdoor BBQ catering has become one of the most requested services at Table. I’m Krystal, the chef behind Table, and I run our events with the help of my trusty Trailblazer BBQ trailer. We bring fresh, cooked-on-site food and genuine hospitality to weddings, private parties and corporate events across Northern Ireland.

A Relaxed and Sociable Alternative to Formal Dining

What started as a supplementary offering has become a core part of what we do. Charcoal BBQ catering offers a more relaxed alternative to formal dining, and it has become especially popular from spring through to autumn.

Over time, the BBQ has become central to our work – from weddings and corporate events to private celebrations. It suits people who want something delicious and sociable without the formality of a sit-down meal. We’ve catered everything from back garden birthdays to full wedding receptions and day-two parties across the country, and it suits all kinds of gatherings.

A BBQ Trailer That Becomes Part of the Event

The Trailblazer BBQ trailer acts as both kitchen and serving station. We run it as an open kitchen so guests can see, smell and hear the food being cooked. It creates a natural focal point and often sparks conversation.

The trailer isn’t just where the food comes from – it becomes part of the day. There’s something about the sound and smell of a BBQ that naturally draws people in. It’s not a burger van or a stage piece, just a working BBQ kitchen that adds atmosphere without taking over.

In winter, the setup feels more like a festive outdoor market, with warming aromas and hot food served straight from the grill.

Menus Built Around Quality and Freshness

Our BBQ menus are based around freshly cooked meats served in bakery-fresh brioche rolls, alongside colourful salads and seasonal grilled sides. I source our meat from McKee’s Farm Shop near Newtownards because their quality and freshness are spot on.

    Sample BBQ Menu:

    • Marinated chicken skewers
    • Jumbo pork sausages
    • Steak burgers
    • Gratin potatoes and grilled vegetables
    • Colourful salads and homemade sauces

Ideal for Weddings, Parties and Corporate Events

We’ve taken the BBQ trailer to:

    • Garden receptions in Belfast
    • Marquee weddings and day-two celebrations
    • Corporate away days
    • Coastal weddings and celebrations
    • Retreats and family reunions

The trailer is compact and fully self-contained, so it’s perfect for venues without kitchen facilities and quick to set up in all kinds of locations.

Suitable for All Seasons – Outdoor BBQ Catering

The BBQ service runs all year. In warmer months, it’s a perfect fit for festival-style and outdoor events. In winter, it brings a completely different vibe – more like a Christmas market, with hearty food and cosy aromas. Festive bookings are limited and usually reserved for clients looking for something a bit different.

A Strong Focus on Dietary Needs

One thing people regularly tell us they appreciate is how we handle dietary requirements. We take it seriously.

We ask the right questions, plan ahead and keep special diet meals separate wherever possible so guests can eat with confidence. Everyone should feel included and valued – that’s a big part of what we’re about.

While we can’t guarantee a completely allergen-free setup due to the mobile nature of the trailer, we do our best to minimise risk. Menus are well planned, and dietary needs are handled discreetly and carefully.

Flexible Catering for All-Day Events – Outdoor BBQ Catering

The BBQ setup works well for more than just lunch or dinner. We’ve used it for full-day events where we serve breakfast followed by a lunchtime BBQ. Morning options often include:

    • Sausage and bacon baps
    • Our signature breakfast hash
    • Burritos with cooked-on-site fillings

Designed for Guests Who Want More Than the Basics

We introduced BBQ catering to offer something a little more relaxed. It’s fresh, cooked-on-site food with a bit of atmosphere – and people respond really well to it. It brings everyone together and feels special without being over the top.

Over time, we’ve built good relationships with local venues and tour operators who want something different for visiting guests. The casual style, local produce and relaxed setup work just as well for international visitors as they do for local celebrations.

The BBQ trailer really reflects what we’re all about at Table – delicious food, genuine hospitality and a relaxed, welcoming feel. Whether I’m cooking in a back garden, at a stunning venue or up along the North Coast, I want guests to feel looked after and leave well fed.
