Within the first couple years of trading, we didn’t expect to steer through a pandemic. But that’s exactly what happened and it pushed us to think differently. The result? Our Afternoon Tea Boxes – a pivot that turned into one of our most popular offerings during Covid.

Initially, these boxes were a way to keep Table going when the pandemic hit. But quickly, they became much more than that. They allowed us to keep connecting with people, even if it was just at their doorstep. We found ourselves not just delivering food but also bringing smiles, especially with surprise deliveries for those with family living abroad.

Doorstep moments became a highlight. Explaining to someone that the Afternoon Tea box on their doorstep was actually for them, led to genuine connections and memorable conversations. For many, I was the only face-to-face interaction they had, which made these deliveries personally rewarding.
